Author Guidelins

Nusa Journal of Community Service invites academics, researchers, and practitioners to submit original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere. Please ensure your manuscript meets academic standards and adheres to the ethics of scholarly publication.

Publication Ethics

  • Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be the authors' original work and free from plagiarism.

  • Copyright: Authors are fully responsible for the copyright related to the content of the manuscript, including any images, tables, or data used.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest, whether financial or non-financial, that may influence the results or interpretation of the work.

Manuscript Format

  • Language: Manuscripts may be written in standard Indonesian or English.

  • Manuscript Length: 3,000–5,000 words, including abstract, references, and appendices.

  • Manuscript Structure:

    • Title: Concise, clear, and accurately reflects the content of the manuscript.

    • Author’s Name: Full name without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliation and email address.

    • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, covering background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusion. Followed by 3–5 keywords.

    • Introduction: Context, problem statement, relevant literature, and objectives of the community service activity.

    • Method: Detailed explanation of community service methods, approach, participants, and implementation strategy.

    • Results and Discussion: Systematic presentation of outputs, outcomes, challenges, and their relevance to theories or best practices.

    • Conclusion: Summary of main findings, implications, and recommendations for future programs.

    • References: Only include cited sources in the manuscript, formatted in APA 7th edition style.

Submission Process

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.

  • All submission, review, and communication processes are conducted online through the journal’s system.
