Copyright and Permissions

Pandai: Education Journal is an open-access journal that publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This policy has significant implications regarding copyright and material usage permissions.

Copyright Retention by Authors

Although articles are published in an open-access format, the copyright for the manuscript remains with the author(s). The authors grant Pandai: Education Journal the right of first publication to publish the article in the journal. This signifies that the authors remain the owners of their intellectual work.

Creative Commons License (CC BY-SA 4.0)

Under this license, everyone is free to:

  • Reuse: Copy, reproduce, and print the articles for any purpose.
  • Distribute: Distribute copies of the articles, either in whole or in part.
  • Adapt: Create derivative works or adaptations from the articles.

However, all the aforementioned freedoms are subject to the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Users must provide proper credit to the original author(s), the article title, and the journal name (Pandai: Education Journal).
  • ShareAlike: If a user creates a derivative work from the article, the new work must be distributed under the same license (CC BY-SA 4.0) or an equivalent one.

Copyright Agreement

By submitting a manuscript, the author(s) affirm that:

  • The manuscript is their original work.
  • The manuscript does not infringe upon the copyright of any third party.
  • The author(s) have read and agreed to the journal's copyright and licensing policy.

The author(s) are required to fill out and sign the Copyright Agreement Form, which will be provided by the editorial team after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. This form serves as the official agreement between the author(s) and the journal regarding copyright and licensing.

This policy ensures that published works can be widely accessed and utilized, while the intellectual property rights of the authors are simultaneously protected.
